Changes to my study program

 When a was begin to studing ingeniería forestal, revise the curriculum map, see that many subject that I don´t was interest, but also many that I was interest very much.If I think about how the study program could be improved, the first thing I think about is that you should be able to choose specialties. A forest engineer should handle several areas of knowledge, everything related to the forest industry, but a large part of the students is inclined towards ecology and botany, which is a completely different area from the forest industry, ecology and botany are oriented more to scientific research, the forest industry is related to the economic area. I believe that every forestry engineer should handle information from both parties, but the curriculum has many specialized branches in both and during the same semesters. If a common plan is made during the first 2 years and the last 3 were specialized, I believe that better results and professionals dedicated to a specific area would be achieved.

Another thing that can be improved is the organization between teachers. It is very common in forestry engineering that teachers do not communicate to plan the semester, consequently, students have 2 or 3 tests on the same day or full weeks of work that could be better distributed in the semester.

Regardless of the flaws I mentioned, a career in forestry is very entertaining and I love it.
